How we climb

The four stages of every route.

We plan every trip as a real ascent — because it is one. Each stage has a job, and we don't skip the boring one that keeps you safe.

Stage 01 · Valley

Arrive & acclimatise

Land in Gilgit, meet your guides, and spend the first days low — letting your body catch up before the real climbing starts.

Stage 02 · Approach

Walk in slowly

Short daily stages through villages and river valleys. You gain height gently, sleeping lower than the day's peak.

Stage 03 · Basecamp

Settle at the ceiling

Two nights at your route's highest camp, with rest days built in for weather, photography, and the summit views you came for.

Stage 04 · Descent

Come down richer

A faster return through the valleys, ending with a shared meal and, if the season allows, apricots straight from Hunza's orchards.

"I've trekked in Nepal and Peru. Nothing prepared me for standing at Concordia at first light with a guide who knew every ridge by name. Meridian didn't sell me a view — they walked me into one."
